Earth And Elegance Return Policy

At Earth And Elegance, we want you to be delighted with your purchase of our handcrafted products. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please review our return policy below for details on returns, refunds or exchanges.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Timeframe: Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • Condition: Jewellery: Must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with all tags, packaging, and accessories included. Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration (e.g., resizing, engraving) are not eligible.
    Soaps: Due to hygiene regulations, soaps must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging. We cannot accept returns of opened or used soaps.
  •  Proof of Purchase: A copy of your order confirmation, receipt, or order number is required for all returns.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Personalised or custom-made products (e.g., engraved items or custom designs).
    Soaps that have been opened or removed from their original packaging.
    Items marked as “final sale” or purchased during a clearance event.
  • Allergy Disclaimer:  Earth And Elegance is not held responsible for any allergic reactions to any of our products. Customers are advised to review product ingredients prior to purchase and use.

Return Process:

Contact Us: Email us at info@earthandelegance.co.za within 30 days of delivery to initiate a return. Please include your order number and a brief reason for the return.

  • Approval: We’ll review your request and provide a return authorisation and shipping instructions. Do not return items without prior approval.
  • Pack and Ship: Securely package the item in its original packaging and ship it to the provided return address using a trackable shipping method. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Inspection: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your return.

Refunds:

  • Refund Amount: If approved, we’ll issue a refund for the purchase price of the item (excluding original shipping fees) to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the return.
  • Shipping Costs: Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item).
  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and offer a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.

Exchanges:

  • We offer exchanges for jewellery (subject to availability) within 30 days of delivery.
  • Soaps are not eligible for exchange due to hygiene concerns, but we can issue a refund for unopened soaps and assist you in placing a new order.
  • To request an exchange, follow the same return process above and specify your preferred replacement item. You are responsible for shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Legal Compliance:

This policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008. Under the CPA, you may return goods within 7 days of receipt for online or remote purchases, provided they meet the conditions above, for a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.
